There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
The Errol features a cognac-colored distressed leather upper, a padded instep and a microfiber insole with an anatomically correct footbed. The polyurethane outsole features a rocker bottom. This style is APMA approved and part of our Professional Collection.

Love red shoes
I ordered the larger size and that was good. My only issue is the red is not the red that shows on my ipad. It’s more of a dark raspberry color. And I thought about returning them but had the feeling they would all be similar so I kept them. I have red Sanita patent clogs and they are a magnificent red.

My normal size 38 was much too big especially around the ankles. I went down one size to a 37 and those were much too short. I LOVE the color of the shoes and had my heart set on wearing these clogs, but I returned both pairs.

Love love love
With the new footbeds I did have to size up (which I’d read but decided to try my usual size first—mistake), but these shoes in the right size now were immediately comfortable and adorable and I have worn them pretty much nonstop since I got them, (Except when we got a foot of snow.)

I love every pair of Sanita shoes I buy. They are more narrow than Dansko which is perfect for me because I have such narrow feet. So so comfortable!
