For half-sizes, we recommend sizing up to the next size.
How should my clogs fit?
There should be a pinky-sized gap between your heel and the back of the clog. The snuggest fit should be across the instep, and the toe box should feel roomy. For slight fit adjustments, pinch or pull the adjustable heel cup or pull the clog apart slightly by the instep.
Is there a break-in period?
Your pair should fit comfortably right out of the box - if it does not fit comfortably during try-on, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance with finding a size or style that will work better for you. There should be no significant break-in period, and we cannot accept returns of worn shoes.
Why has my size changed?
We now use a comfortable, cushioned microfiber footbed in all of our Professional clogs, replacing the previously used leather insole. While most wearers do not notice a difference, for some it may contribute to a more snug fit. Therefore, even if you have previously worn Sanita, we strongly recommend consulting our updated size chart before ordering. Upon receipt, please try on your pair to ensure a comfortable fit right out of the box, before they are worn for an extended period of time and thus unreturnable. If you find any discomfort or have any questions about fit during the try-on process, please contact our customer service team right away so that they can assist further in finding the right pair for you.
All of our shoes are handcrafted by cobblers in our factory, and due to the nature of this process, slight variations in fit between pairs and shoes can occur. Different uppers will also fit differently, as some have more flexibility. If you are unsure about which style will work best for you, please contact our Customer Service team for assistance.
Our shoes are approved by the APMA, the American Podiatric Medical Association.
