There should be a pinky sized gap between your heel and the back the of clog, and plenty of room in the toe box area. The instep will be the snuggest part of the shoe and your heel should lift up slightly out of the shoe as you walk.
The Chrissy features a chestnut oiled nubuck leather upper with a wood midsole and a natural rubber outsole. With a non padded instep this is made from sustainably sourced, naturally antibacterial wood from linden trees. Lightly padded in the heel.

So I wanted to love these, they look great on, but the wooden sole is really painful to me and there’s just no way I could keep them. I had to return sadly!
